Throughout the book I have used both masculine and feminine terms depending on which gender came to mind when covering any particular aspect of palmistry.

The science of palm reading is an exact one and it takes years of practice to be able to accurately interpret the information revealed by the hand. This book has a specific and definite aim, that is to help parents to unlock the secrets of their children's hands, therefore I have kept it as simple and uncomplicated as possible.

Although it is possible to read babies hands, it is very difficult to get them to open their palms and even more difficult to keep them open. I could not in all conscience charge for a reading like this, so I recommend that any child you bring to see me should be four years old or over.
